Letters
Tex Evans, USN liaison officer in Shropshire wih me

An American contacted me about his Father, Tex Evans, who served as a USN liaison officer in Shropshire with me, and the son had viewed the photo of Shropshire's crew on the site.

There have been at least five local inquiries from relatives whose fathers, husbands etc have served in Canberra or Shropshire, from Sydney, Brisbane, Western Australia, and a country town in Victoria. When in Sydney recently I met a Chris Johnston whose Grand Father a Chief Petty Officer served in Shropshire with me, and it came about from Chris viewing Ahoy.
